David J. Farnham, Esq.
David J. Farnham is the Senior Partner of our Firm. Mr. Farnham
practices in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death,
automobile accidents and injuries, nursing home abuse and
neglect, medical malpractice, workers compensation, business
litigation, contracts, criminal law, (where he is a death
penalty qualified attorney), parole and probation, felony
and misdemeanors, dui, criminal appeals, family law, (including
divorce, child custody, child support and modifications),
corporate law, wills, discrimination and sexual harassment
in the workplace.
Mr. Farnham is licensed to practice in all Georgia Trial Courts,
the Supreme Court of Georgia, the Court of Appeals of Georgia,
the United States District Court for the Northern District
of Georgia, and the United States District Court for the Middle
District of Georgia.
Mr. Farnham was admitted to the practice of law in Georgia
in 1986 after graduating cum laude from Georgia State University
College of Law where he earned his Juris Doctor. He received
his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from the University
of New Hamphshire, in 1978.
Prior to entering law school Mr. Farnham served a term in
the New Hampshire House of Representatives where he was appointed
an Assistant Majority Whip by the Speaker of the House in
1978. In that capacity he served on the Executive Departments
and Administration Committee and as Clerk for the State and
Federal Relations Committee.
In 1986 he was inducted into the Who's Who Among American
Law Students and was named an Outstanding Young Man of America.
Mr. Farnham currently serves as the President of the Alcovy
Bar Association for the State Bar of Georgia, a position he
has retained since 2000. He is also serving his third year
of a five year term as a Fellow of the Lawyers Foundation
of Georgia, a philanthropic organization run by the State
Bar of Georgia.
